A 39-year-old woman has volunteered to have her Caesarean broadcast in what is being called Twitter’s first live surgical birth.
The woman, who has given birth through C-section before, is not revealing her identity.
Her doctors at Women’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston Texas will document the surgery from pre-admission testing and anesthesia to the first surgical incision and delivery of the baby through live, up-close video, still photography and play-by-play tweets.
