Whether or not its presence will still be felt all the way during next awards season, The Place Beyond the Pines has been proclaimed one of the top films of 2012. As it's finally set to hit theaters later this month, whether or not the feature will really succeed beyond its word of mouth remains to be seen. In the past few weeks, we've seen a slew of new footage thanks to TV spots and an inductory clip, while images and posters have surfaced right alongside. Now, two more clips have surfaced each putting the spotlight on our co-leading men as they find themselves up against the wall.
Luke (Gosling) is a professional motorcycle rider who turns to bank robberies to support his newborn son. But when he crosses paths with a rookie police officer (Cooper), their violent confrontation spirals into a tense generational feud. The Place Beyond the Pines is a rich dramatic thriller, tracing the intersecting lives of fathers and sons, cops and robbers, heroes and villains.
Co-starring Eva Mendes, Rose Byrne, Bruce Greenwood, Ray Liotta, Ben Mendelsohn, Dane DeHaan, Emory Cohen and more, The Place Beyond the Pines hits a limited release on March 29th.
